What About the Lysine Contingency…?

And Now, English People Fighting… With Cats.

Proof that sharp choreography and raw physical ability can sometimes play second fiddle to tech savvy and clever editing when it comes to crafting entertaining fights for movies.

Thanks to Topless Robot for finding this gem amid the ocean of internet craptacular-ness.

“You Are MR. DEBBIE!!!”

Unfortunate quality, but really, it’s the content that counts.

Sadly, I Just Discovered This Today.

CLICK FOR VIDEO

The visuals and timing of this synch up too fucking well.

Seriously, I haven’t even played Skyrim, much less coddled it’s balls ever so tenderly in my mouth like many of my friends have been doing the past few months, though even I can admit this music, ¬†combined with these visuals, is comedic gold.

That being said, am I the only one that is surprised to hear that the “Fus Ro Dah” is the proper pronunciation of the dragon chant featured in all the Skyrim advertisements?

Maybe it’s just my lyrically challenged brain playing tricks on me, but ever since I first saw the trailer for the game, I always thought the guy was yelling something more along the lines of “Skor-Tel-Ah.”

Oh well, live and learn I guess.

And Now, A Message From Brock Lesnar

In case you’re wondering, the clip above comes from an advertisement for the upcoming videogame, WWE ’12.

For whatever reason, they hired Brock Lesnar to show up in the last 3 seconds of the video so he could scream at the audience.

Apparently that qualifies as good sales technique these days.

Anyway, I apologize if you fail to derive any sort of humor from this clip, though you should probably know that I cut it together just for you.

*Ahem!* It’s Water Time.

The clip above is a short video that a friend of mine put together to launch his new website/film troupe, Hapstance Films.

In case you’re wondering, said friend happens to be Sean Parker, who along with Austin Hillebrecht, was responsible for directing/writing/shooting/everything in between the movie Coup De Cinema.

My review for Coup can be found here.

Anyway, I’m bored, tired, and have a stack of movies I’ve been trying to watch for weeks now, so tonight I figured I’d be a whore and give a friend some free publicity.

That being said, given the talent exhibited by everyone behind it, I think it’s more than likely Hapstance Films will go on to have a long and productive life cycle.

Hopefully they’ll crank out lots of good shit sooner rather than later though.

‘Cause otherwise I’ll have to, y’know, write full-length articles n’shit…

The Mamushka!

Well, guess who got bored this evening!

Anyway, this card has it’s origins in the excellent Addams Family movie from the early 90’s.

I watched that movie way too many times in my youth, resulting in me having an unhealthy appreciation for all things Raul Julia.

Why the fuck did this guy have to die!?

That being said, The Addams Family had an incredible number of hilarious and quotable moments, but if you ask me; The Mamushka is the one scene that will always stand out the most.

If you haven’t seen this sequence, or worse yet; have somehow allowed yourself to forget it, be sure to watch the clip below, you won’t reget it:

Anyway, Addams Family = Awesome.¬† And don’t you forget it…

Poster-ing… Busy Yourself With Some Farley.

Sorry, no post for tonight.

My brother asked me to do (another) poster for him and his work buddies, so I’ll probably be busy photoshop-ing for the next couple of nights.

In place of my ramblings this evening, you will instead be treated to a clip of the comic genius that is Chris Farley

A clip that just happens to be taken from one of his worst films.

Anyway, please enjoy watching Chris Farley fight an eagle puppet while I bust my ass and burn my retinas toiling away in photoshop:

Another Week Down, Another Farley Clip For The Masses

*Sigh* Another week at Amazon complete, and once again we celebrate with another clip of the funniest fat man of our time, Chris Farley.

This time around, we’re pulling a clip from one of Farley’s last, and sadly; least memorable films: Almost Heroes.

Despite being an overall shitty film, complete with a decidedly unfunny Matthew Perry (on the drugs, as evidenced by his slim frame at the time), Farley managed to salvage it for the most part with a handful of classic moments.

I don’t think any of us could help but laugh at Farley’s battle(s) with the eagle puppet.

We’ll save that clip for another time though…

Anyway, here’s one of my favorite of said classic moments:
